Shocking Debut of Infiniti Luxury Electric

16.10.2012 Shocking Debut of Infiniti Luxury Electric

What’s debut on New York Auto Show? Moreover, it was shocking one. Are you interested in Luxury Electric?

Autoliquidator informed: The 2012 New York Auto Show was packed with all kinds of big time debuts and unveilings, from every major car maker in the industry. One of the most shocking debuts was the Infiniti LE Concept car. Infiniti, the luxury division of Nissan, is no stranger to big time, sexy and eye catching unveilings. What sets the Infiniti LE Concept car apart is that it may be the first legitimate luxury electric car to hit the market in the next two years.

Notice the first two letters of luxury electric? It is LE. Or LE could have possibly come from the Leaf, the electric Nissan car that this concept is built from. You would never associate the Leaf and the LE Concept if you just saw them out on the road together, and that is precisely what Infiniti was aiming for. They took center stage at the 2012 New York Auto Show to give the world the first taste of what hopefully becomes the norm, and that is electric cars that do not look like boxes and are loaded with technological, luxury and comfort features.

The LE will use the same battery as the Leaf, and even though the engine is a bit more powerful, Infiniti says it should get the same electric range as the Leaf, about 100 miles. They achieved this through engineering a lighter, more aerodynamic vehicle, and at the same time created a car that looks very good inside and out. They are even playing with the first wireless charging battery, which would be accomplished with a charger installed in your home. This is no doubt going to be one of the best deals on new cars for people looking for the most advanced vehicles around.

The Infiniti LE Concept will likely start production as a 2014 or 2015 model in the next two years, but it will no doubt draw a lot of attention in the months to come.
